Goals and Activities of the Foundation The Foundation will host an annual World Forum starting in Europe and then rotating to Asia and then to the Americas each year. The Foundation will also host a series of City of the Future conferences starting in Los Angeles in December and then in other major regions of the world as appropriate. The Foundation will also develop a Web site for the routine exchange of information, publication of research abstracts, notice of meetings, and other matters. The Foundation will establish a clearinghouse on best practices worldwide, including government polices which may help or inder "smart communities" development. The Foundation will provide general information, notice of meetings and other information as the general public, and publish a by-monthly newsletter to all interested parties, including individuals for an annual subscription fee of $150.00 U.S.
Finally, the Foundation will undertake such other programs support the general mission of the Foundation and its members.
